Rest in Peace Ronald “Coach” Conley

 Ronald “Coach” Conley passed away on September 2, 2021 surrounded by family in his Burney home of over fifty-three years. He was born in Nebraska and moved to the Redding area in the mid 50’s where Ron attended and graduated from Enterprise High School in 1960.

He played football and baseball in High School then went on to play baseball for Chico State his Junior and Senior year of college.  Coach earned a Physical Education degree at Chico State in 1964 and a year later, his teaching credential.  He coached and taught at Fall River High School and Burney High School.  Ron coached three sports a year for the first 19 years of his career. Coach retired in 2007 after 39 years of teaching and coaching in the Intermountain Area. Coach prided himself on always trying to be a positive role model to students and athletes. He instilled people to always do the best they could do and take pride in what they did.

Ron was a great member of the Nor-Cal RCA and will be missed by all who knew him.
